The Friends of Lady Barn (FOLB) Fundraising Committee is the new name for the PTA (from September 2024). A variety of social functions will allow families to get to know one another in a more relaxed setting. The children see their parents and the school staff working together for their benefit.
As a school, our fundraising has evolved significantly, but in recent years it has relied heavily on key members to keep events running. As members come and go, experience can be lost and fundraising activities impacted. Whilst input into the planning of events is crucial, FOLB needs active members to form a dedicated team, to execute events on the day. There is a need to engage existing members, attract new members and broaden interest in FOLB, whilst being mindful that our pupils’ parents have very busy working lives and limited free time available.
